Philippine-Made Isuzu Troop Carrier Trucks Strengthen Army Mobility
The Philippine Army has recently received 205 brand-new Isuzu trucks (NPS and FTS models), configured as troop carriers to enhance mobility, logistics support, and disaster response capabilities.
These vehicles are part of the ongoing modernization program aimed at improving operational readiness and ensuring faster and more reliable transportation of military personnel across different missions.
The trucks were locally manufactured by Isuzu Philippines Corporation, supporting the country’s domestic automotive industry. Final assembly and delivery were completed through authorized dealers, including Isuzu Makati and Isuzu Tagum.
Designed for both military operations and emergency response, these troop carrier units are expected to strengthen the Philippine Army’s capability in humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and field deployment operations.
